A ten-day capacity-building seminar for officers of the criminal management departments of Nuristan province has successfully concluded, according to the provincial police headquarters.


Further more, the program was organized by the Professional Training Directorate of the General Directorate for Combating Criminal Offences under the Ministry of Interior Affairs. Participants included officers from the provincial police’s criminal management department, district criminal heads, as well as officials from the passport, biometrics, prison, and recruitment sections.


The closing ceremony was attended by Acting Deputy for Security Affairs of Nuristan, Alhaj Mohammad Yasin Shakir, the head of the visiting delegation from Kabul, Qazi Khalid Akhundzada, Criminal Director Mufti Saadullah Zarar, Deputy for Police Coordination Mufti Shafiullah, and a number of instructors from the ministry’s center.


During the ten-day seminar, participants received comprehensive training on administrative procedures, crime scene investigation and analysis, methods of combating and preventing criminal activities, biometric systems, precise site inspections, and interdepartmental coordination.
