The 207 Al-Farooq Army Corps has announced that 700 personnel of the Islamic and National Army have returned to service after completing a training course. The press office of the 207 Al-Farooq Corps (Saturday night, October 31) reported the graduation of these personnel from the corps’ training center. Meanwhile, The graduates completed a three-month training program, during which they received military and ideological training, and were awarded their graduation certificates in a formal ceremony.

A total of 507 members of the Islamic Police from northern provinces have graduated from the Islamic Police Training and Education Center in Balkh after completing ideological, technical, and professional courses. Hafiz Mohammad Esa Wasiq, the spokesperson for the Balkh Police Command, said that the participants of this training program came from the provinces of Balkh, Faryab, Jawzjan, Sar-e-Pul, and Samangan. Further more, he added that the purpose of organizing this course was to enhance professional capacity, strengthen discipline and order, and promote the spirit of public service among the Islamic Police forces.

Today, Tuesday, a grand ceremony was held in the courtyard of the Khost Police Command for the inauguration of Khost Police Radio, attended by high-ranking government officials, Mujahideen, and local residents. The event was attended by Mawlawi Abdul Hakim Hemat Akhundzada, Head of Public Relations of the Ministry of Interior; Mufti Abdul Matin Qane, Spokesperson of the Ministry; Mawlawi Mahboob Shah Qanit, Deputy Governor of Khost; Mullah Abdullah Hamad, Khost Police Chief; Mawlawi Shah Hussain Masjidi, Director of Information and Culture; along with radio officers, senior police officials, university professors, Mujahideen, journalists, and members of the public. Mawlawi Mahboob Shah Qanit delivered the opening speech, expressing happiness over the establishment of the police radio station in Khost. He said that under the Islamic system, all media outlets enjoy full freedom as long as they observe Islamic values. Khost Police Chief Mullah Abdullah Hamad also expressed his delight at the inauguration of the police radio and thanked all those who made tireless efforts in its establishment. He also thanked the police personnel for their sincere dedication and presented a six-month report on the achievements of the security forces. Mawlawi Abdul Hakim Hemat Akhundzada, Head of Public Relations of the Ministry of Interior, congratulated the people of Khost on the launch of the Police Radio and said that the station will not only broadcast police activities and achievements but will also reflect the accomplishments of all institutions of the Islamic system. He added that the establishment of the Khost Police Radio would help strengthen the bond between the police and the public, fostering mutual understanding, communication, and trust. Akhundzada also thanked the leadership of the Khost Police Command for their cooperation and tireless efforts in setting up the radio station. He described writers, journalists, and the police radio as sources of intellectual enlightenment, pledging that the staff of the police radio will work tirelessly day and night to convey the voices of the people to the responsible authorities. Meanwhile, Mufti Abdul Matin Qane, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior, highlighted the crucial role of the media in modern politics and ongoing information warfare. He thanked media representatives for positively reflecting the policies, achievements, and activities of the Islamic Emirate in accordance with Islamic principles. It is worth mentioning that Khost Police Radio, operating under the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Interior, broadcasts 24 hours a day on FM 94.3, offering a variety of political, economic, social, educational, and other programs for its listeners.

Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Administrative Prime Minister, met with a number of scholars, Mujahideen, and officials from Ghor province. During the meeting, Mawlawi Hanafi said that addressing the people’s problems and needs is one of the duties and responsibilities of the Islamic Emirate, and efforts will be made in this regard in accordance with available resources.

The modernization and digitalization of traffic lights at 19 locations in Mazar-e-Sharif has begun, aiming to improve urban order, prevent accidents, and reduce traffic congestion. The project is being implemented by the Mazar-e-Sharif Municipality in coordination with the Traffic Department of Balkh province. Funded from the municipality’s development budget at a cost of 7 million Afghanis, the project includes digitalization of traffic lights, painting of poles, road marking, and one-year maintenance. However, the practical work of the project will be carried out over three months by the contracting company Basit Bilal.

The Director of Information and Culture of Herat visited the restoration process of the towers of Ekhtiyaruddin Fortress and the Heriva Darulfunun Institute. During his visit to the restoration work on the towers of Ekhtiyaruddin Fortress, Mawlawi Ahmadullah Muttaqi, the Director of Information and Culture of Herat Province, emphasized the preservation of architectural authenticity and the acceleration of the reconstruction of this historical monument. According to Mawlawi Muttaqi, the towers and walls of Ekhtiyaruddin Fortress, which were damaged by the Herat earthquake, are currently under repair. He added that the project is being implemented in cooperation with cultural heritage preservation specialists and technical institutions. Meanwhile, the engineer in charge of the restoration project of Ekhtiyaruddin Fortress stated that local materials and construction methods consistent with traditional architectural principles are being used in the renovation so that the fortress can remain resilient against potential future earthquakes. Additionally, the Director of Information and Culture also visited various sections of the Heriva Darulfunun Institute, praised the activities of this educational and cultural center, and stressed the need for further efforts to strengthen its educational capacities.

One-day science fair featured 120 students presenting projects in the fields of science, technology, and agriculture. According to Ahmad Siyawash Haris, spokesperson for the governor of Jawzjan, the purpose of organizing the exhibition was to encourage students, highlight their scientific talents, and create opportunities for academic competition at the national and international levels. Provincial officials, education authorities, teachers, and parents also attended the opening ceremony and visited the students’ scientific achievements.

The Ministry of Interior said, that a high-level delegation led by Mawlawi Abdul Haq Makhdoom, Deputy Minister for Policy and Strategy, visited the home of Salim Paygir to offer condolences and meet with his family members. The ministry announced in a statement today (Saturday, October 11, that the delegation met with Paygir’s family members during the visit. According to the ministry, the delegation assured the family that, in consultation with doctors and as needed, all medical facilities and treatment opportunities for Mr. Paygir would be provided both inside and outside the country.

Sources in the Ministry of National Defense said, that 400 young men from Takhar and Baghlan provinces have graduated after completing three-month intellectual and military training courses. According to the sources, during the graduation ceremony, officials emphasized that the graduates are now ready to defend the Islamic system and must strive to protect the country’s territorial integrity and promote unity among the people.

A ten-day capacity-building seminar for officers of the criminal management departments of Nuristan province has successfully concluded, according to the provincial police headquarters. Further more, the program was organized by the Professional Training Directorate of the General Directorate for Combating Criminal Offences under the Ministry of Interior Affairs. Participants included officers from the provincial police’s criminal management department, district criminal heads, as well as officials from the passport, biometrics, prison, and recruitment sections. The closing ceremony was attended by Acting Deputy for Security Affairs of Nuristan, Alhaj Mohammad Yasin Shakir, the head of the visiting delegation from Kabul, Qazi Khalid Akhundzada, Criminal Director Mufti Saadullah Zarar, Deputy for Police Coordination Mufti Shafiullah, and a number of instructors from the ministry’s center. During the ten-day seminar, participants received comprehensive training on administrative procedures, crime scene investigation and analysis, methods of combating and preventing criminal activities, biometric systems, precise site inspections, and interdepartmental coordination.
