The Director of Information and Culture of Herat visited the restoration process of the towers of Ekhtiyaruddin

The Director of Information and Culture of Herat visited the restoration process of the towers of Ekhtiyaruddin Fortress and the Heriva Darulfunun Institute.


During his visit to the restoration work on the towers of Ekhtiyaruddin Fortress, Mawlawi Ahmadullah Muttaqi, the Director of Information and Culture of Herat Province, emphasized the preservation of architectural authenticity and the acceleration of the reconstruction of this historical monument.


According to Mawlawi Muttaqi, the towers and walls of Ekhtiyaruddin Fortress, which were damaged by the Herat earthquake, are currently under repair. He added that the project is being implemented in cooperation with cultural heritage preservation specialists and technical institutions.


Meanwhile, the engineer in charge of the restoration project of Ekhtiyaruddin Fortress stated that local materials and construction methods consistent with traditional architectural principles are being used in the renovation so that the fortress can remain resilient against potential future earthquakes.


Additionally, the Director of Information and Culture also visited various sections of the Heriva Darulfunun Institute, praised the activities of this educational and cultural center, and stressed the need for further efforts to strengthen its educational capacities.

Hundreds of personnel of the Islamic and National Army graduated from a training course in Herat

The 207 Al-Farooq Army Corps has announced that 700 personnel of the Islamic and National Army have returned to service after completing a training course. The press office of the 207 Al-Farooq Corps (Saturday night, October 31) reported the graduation of these personnel from the corps’ training center. Meanwhile, The graduates completed a three-month training program, during which they received military and ideological training, and were awarded their graduation certificates in a formal ceremony.

Graduation of 507 Islamic Police Officers from the Training Center in Balkh Province

A total of 507 members of the Islamic Police from northern provinces have graduated from the Islamic Police Training and Education Center in Balkh after completing ideological, technical, and professional courses. Hafiz Mohammad Esa Wasiq, the spokesperson for the Balkh Police Command, said that the participants of this training program came from the provinces of Balkh, Faryab, Jawzjan, Sar-e-Pul, and Samangan. Further more, he added that the purpose of organizing this course was to enhance professional capacity, strengthen discipline and order, and promote the spirit of public service among the Islamic Police forces.

Grand inauguration ceremony held for Khost Police Radio under the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Interior

Today, Tuesday, a grand ceremony was held in the courtyard of the Khost Police Command for the inauguration of Khost Police Radio, attended by high-ranking government officials, Mujahideen, and local residents. The event was attended by Mawlawi Abdul Hakim Hemat Akhundzada, Head of Public Relations of the Ministry of Interior; Mufti Abdul Matin Qane, Spokesperson of the Ministry; Mawlawi Mahboob Shah Qanit, Deputy Governor of Khost; Mullah Abdullah Hamad, Khost Police Chief; Mawlawi Shah Hussain Masjidi, Director of Information and Culture; along with radio officers, senior police officials, university professors, Mujahideen, journalists, and members of the public. Mawlawi Mahboob Shah Qanit delivered the opening speech, expressing happiness over the establishment of the police radio station in Khost. He said that under the Islamic system, all media outlets enjoy full freedom as long as they observe Islamic values. Khost Police Chief Mullah Abdullah Hamad also expressed his delight at the inauguration of the police radio and thanked all those who made tireless efforts in its establishment. He also thanked the police personnel for their sincere dedication and presented a six-month report on the achievements of the security forces. Mawlawi Abdul Hakim Hemat Akhundzada, Head of Public Relations of the Ministry of Interior, congratulated the people of Khost on the launch of the Police Radio and said that the station will not only broadcast police activities and achievements but will also reflect the accomplishments of all institutions of the Islamic system. He added that the establishment of the Khost Police Radio would help strengthen the bond between the police and the public, fostering mutual understanding, communication, and trust. Akhundzada also thanked the leadership of the Khost Police Command for their cooperation and tireless efforts in setting up the radio station. He described writers, journalists, and the police radio as sources of intellectual enlightenment, pledging that the staff of the police radio will work tirelessly day and night to convey the voices of the people to the responsible authorities. Meanwhile, Mufti Abdul Matin Qane, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior, highlighted the crucial role of the media in modern politics and ongoing information warfare. He thanked media representatives for positively reflecting the policies, achievements, and activities of the Islamic Emirate in accordance with Islamic principles. It is worth mentioning that Khost Police Radio, operating under the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Interior, broadcasts 24 hours a day on FM 94.3, offering a variety of political, economic, social, educational, and other programs for its listeners.
