Local wrestling competitions were held in Takhar.

Local wrestling competitions had been held in Takhar province by the participation of 60 athletes in Eid’s days in center and districts of Takhar province. 


However, these competitions have been held by the Kursh federation and directorate of physical education and sports of this province. 

It is mentionable, prize were presented to 30 athletes.

Afghanistan’s national under-17 futsal team has won the Asian Championship

Afghanistan’s national under-17 futsal team has become the champion of the 2025 Asian Youth Championship after defeating Iran. In the final match, Afghanistan’s U-17 futsal team triumphed over Iran with a score of 2–1, securing the gold medal in the tournament. Basically, this marks Afghanistan’s first-ever championship title in the history of the U-17 Asian Futsal competitions.
