Work on ten projects had begun in Nuristan in cost of 90 million Afghanis.

Feraidon Samim the spokesperson of Nuristan governor said to Police radio, that work on 58 projects in cost of 90 million Afghanis had been begun in this province, 


Meanwhile, the session had been held in the presence of Al-Haj Qari Zainull Abidin Abid the governor of Nuristan province and with the assistance of UNOPS and the directorate of rural rehabilitation and development. 


Additionally, the Nuristan governor Al-Haj Qari Zainul Abidin Abid had been recommended to Amir-Al Mu’minin Shaikh Mullah Hebatullah  ( Hafizulla ) to built Brishna hydropower dam in Nuristan and the recommendation has been accepted by supreme leader of Afghanistan Ami-Al Mu’minin and he approved the propose and it was submitted to the ministry of economy for implementation of the projects.

Hundreds of Drug Addicts Reintegrated with Their Families After Treatment in Herat

Officials in Herat province reported, that 400 drug addicts, who had previously been collected from various areas of the province by the Counter-Narcotics Directorate, have been discharged and handed over to their families in good health after completing a three-month treatment program. However, the process was carried out by a designated committee.

High-Tonnage Weighbridge Constructed and Commissioned at Torkham Customs

The Ministry of Finance announced that the General Directorate of Customs has constructed and commissioned a high-tonnage weighbridge at Torkham Customs at a cost of 3.5 million Afghanis, aimed at determining the weight of imported goods. According to the ministry of finance the weighbridge measures 22 meters in length and 3 meters in width, with the capacity to measure up to 120 tons of weight. Additionally, with the installation of this weighbridge, it is expected to prevent revenue loss and overloading, while also significantly accelerating the customs clearance process for commercial goods. It is worth noting that the project was funded by the Ministry of Finance’s development budget and implemented by an Afghan company.

Turkish Consul General, Alongside Afghan-Turk Maarif Delegation, Met with the Governor of Herat

In this meeting, the Turkish Consul General, the Afghan-Turk Maarif delegation, and graduates and students of higher education in Turkey met with Sheikh Mawlana Islamjar, the honorable governor of Herat. Along side, they discussed the educational programs of the Afghan-Turk schools and the expansion of bilateral cooperation.
