Construction of the Largest Solar Power Project in Balkh Province Officially Launched
The construction of the largest solar power generation project was inaugurated in Dehdadi district of Balkh province.
This project, with a capacity to generate 40 megawatts of electricity, will be built at a cost of 28 million US dollars.
Officials stated,that upon completion, the project will provide stable electricity access to over 40,000 families.
In addition to households in Dehdadi district and surrounding areas, businesses and manufacturing factories will also benefit from the electricity generated by this plant.
On other side, The goal of this project is to reduce dependence on imported energy sources, strengthen domestic energy infrastructure, and promote the use of solar energy.
