A 15-days cricket tournament had started between 42 public and private schools
The Eastern Zone Cricket Board launched a 15-days tournament yesterday in Nangarhar, featuring cricket teams from 42 public and private schools.
The tournament, which kicked off in Siraj-ul-Emarat Garden in Jalalabad city, was attended by officials from the Department of Sports and Olympics, the Department of Education, as well as the Youth Affairs Director of the Nangarhar Department of Information and Culture.
Meanwhile, Qari Mohammad Asif Zuhair, the Youth Affairs Director, stated, that the Nangarhar Department of Information and Culture has always strived to provide young people with opportunities for intellectual, cultural, sports, and other beneficial programs.
He further added, that for this purpose, a large educational center for the intellectual training of youth will soon be established in Jalalabad city, where thousands of young people will be engaged in learning.
