Nangarhar police repaired over 1,800 different types of military vehicles in the past year.
Sayed Tayeb Hammad, spokesperson for the Nangarhar Police said to Police Radio that the workshop directorate of this command has repaired and put back into service 1,801 different types of military vehicles in the past year, worth nearly 9 million Afghanis.
According to Mr. Hammad, the repaired vehicles included 1,450 Rangers, 50 Humvee tanks, 25 International trucks, 50 Hilux trucks, 20 Land Cruisers, and 145 motorcycles.
It is worth mentioning that since the Islamic Emirate took power, the technical workshop of the Nangarhar Police has repaired and put back into service hundreds of military vehicles that were out of commission during the previous administration.
