Officials from the Samangan Provincial Police Headquarters said, that  they have discovered and seized a quantity of weapons and ammunition in the villages of Big Mohammad Qadoq and Raihan, located in the Hazrat Sultan district of the province.

Hashematullah Rahmani, spokesperson for the Samangan Provincial Police, stated, that through a precise and targeted intelligence operation, a cache of weapons and ammunition was discovered and seized. The confiscated items include: 3 Kalashnikov rifles with 8magazines,1 carbine rifle,1 five-round rifle, 2 pistols with 3 magazines, and nearly 200 rounds of ammunition.

Meanwhile, Mr. Rahmani added, that the weapons were found in the possession of unauthorized individuals who were illegally keeping them.
