Hamid Gul Liwal, the head of the Public Relations Department at the Department of Physical Education and Sports in Balkh Province, said, that the local Kourash competitions were held among 120 athletes, organized by the Kourash Federation’s representative in collaboration with the Department of Physical Education and Sports of Balkh Province, in the village of Arq Batar, located in the Shortepe district of the province.

According to Mr. Liwal, in these competitions, 10 pairs of athletes ended up in a draw, while 50 other athletes defeated their opponents.
