Road and Drainage Concrete Work Launched in Nangarhar
Concrete work on roads and drainage canals has been launched in the 7th district of Jalalabad city of Nangarhar province, with a total budget of 7.2 million Afghanis.
According to a statement released by the Jalalabad Municipality, the project is being implemented under their supervision with financial support from the World Bank and technical cooperation from UNOPS. Thus, The construction has started in the first neighborhood of the 7th district.
The statement notes that the project covers a length of 675 meters and a width of 5 meters, with the entire cost of 7.2 million Afghanis funded by the World Bank.
Additionally, the project has provided employment opportunities for 115 local workers from the area.
