The Anti-Narcotics Department under Balkh Provincial Police Command gathered twenty deserving beggars identified during a Red Crescent survey and referred them to the organization. Each family received a package of 12 food items.

Additionally, the aid distributed included a sack of flour, 20 kilograms of rice, 10 liters of cooking oil, macaroni, sugar, jam, tea, soap, dishwashing liquid, and other essential supplies. This support aims to help alleviate some of the difficulties faced by these beggars.

At the same time, the recipients expressed their gratitude to the Islamic Emirate for this assistance and urged the government to continue providing similar support to needy families to help them overcome economic hardships. They also pledged that if the government supports them, they will never resort to begging again.
