Based on the high directive of Amir al-Mu'minin (Hafizullah), the Counter-Narcotics Department of the Samangan Provincial Police Command distributed food items and cash assistance to 117 underprivileged families. These families had previously been identified, registered, and biometrically verified by an assigned committee.

 Further more, the assistance included 11 types of food items and a sum of cash, which were distributed in the presence of Mawlawi Muhammad Sadiq Hakimi, Head of the Governor’s Office; Damula Shukrullah Muhammad, representative of the Police Command; Qari Ahmad Khalid Rasheedi, Director of Counter-Narcotics; and several other officials from civil departments.

According to the officials, this is the seventh round of aid distributed by the Counter-Narcotics Department to needy families in Samangan, aimed at reducing poverty and supporting vulnerable segments of society.
