The Balkh Directorate of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock has launched a campaign to combat ticks and prevent the spread of Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF).


Based on reports, in coordination with the District Agriculture and Livestock Services Office of Dawlatabad and supported by the ACTED organization, the campaign involves spraying pesticides in local markets to eliminate ticks and reduce the risk of CCHF transmission.
