Security officials in Balkh province have announced the implementation of special measures to ensure the safety of citizens during the Eid al-Adha holidays.

Mullah Abdul Razaq Rashid, the police chief of Balkh, stated that police forces, intelligence units, and other security agencies have been strategically deployed throughout the city and districts to fully maintain security.

Reports indicate that in recent years, the security situation in Balkh has improved, leading to an increase in tourist activity during the Eid period.
