Reactivation of Police Motorcycles in Maimana, the Capital of Faryab Province


To enhance security, 50 police motorcycles have been reactivated in Maimana, the capital of Faryab province. These vehicles, operated by uniformed personnel, patrol the city and its surroundings in shifts to ensure security and prevent violations.

Four Individuals have been arrested in Badghis for cutting electricity poles

Sediqullah Siddiqi, the spokesperson for the Badghis Provincial Police Command, told Police Radio that security forces from the fourth district of Qala-e-Naw city carried out a series of follow-up operations and arrested four individuals in the “Jari Sakhi” area of the provincial capital. The individuals were accused of cutting iron parts from electricity poles with the intent to steal them, taking advantage of the darkness of night. They were detained along with a number of cut iron pieces.

Arrest of Eight Gamblers in a Residential House in Balkh

Hafiz Mohammad Isa Wasiq, spokesperson for the Balkh Police Command, said today (Sunday) that the sixth security zone police in Balkh arrested eight individuals who were gambling in a residential house. According to him, a sum of cash was seized, including 500 US dollars, 50 euros, and 42,890 Afghanis. After preliminary investigations, the cases of these individuals will be referred to judicial authorities for further proceedings.
