Peace Restored Between Two Families in Chimtal District, Balkh Province
Peace has been restored between two families in the village of Turki Imam Sahib, Chimtal district of Balkh province, after a month-long dispute. The reconciliation was initiated by Mawlawi Sardar Mohammad Mohammadi, head of the Balkh Directorate of Borders, Ethnicities, and Tribes, and was mediated by local elders and religious scholars.
The conflict, which had arisen between Sayed Jan and Sayed Hassan, sons of Sayed Noorullah, and Mullah Isa and Haji Mohammad, sons of Abdul Sattar, was over a road and passageway. Thanks to the efforts of the mediators, the dispute was resolved and both parties have returned to peaceful coexistence.
