Mawlawi Mohammad Zahid Wafa, acting head of the Complaints Department at the Nangarhar Directorate of Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, told Police Radio that during the past three months of the current year, the directorate has intervened in 13 cases of forced marriage across the province and successfully prevented them.

He further stated that the department restored the inheritance rights of 52 women who had been deprived of their share, in accordance with Islamic principles.

Meanwhile, Mawlawi Wafa emphasized that their efforts will continue to focus on social reform, the promotion of Islamic values, and the protection of legitimate rights.
