Over 30,000 Afghan Migrants Returned from Iran Through Herat Borders
Mawlawi Ahmadullah Muttaqi, Head of Information and Culture in Herat and Chair of the Commission for Addressing Migrants' Issues, stated that more than 30,000 Afghan migrants returned to the country from Iran through the Herat borders yesterday.
Mr. Muttaqi added that basic services such as water, food, and immediate medical care were provided to the returnees who arrived yesterday. Furthermore, all necessary facilities are in place to accommodate the returnees, and full preparedness exists for any future waves of returnees.
