The district governor of Lalpur district, Alhaj Lal Khatam, said that due to heavy rains today (Sunday), the floods that occurred in the area have inflicted severe financial damage on the residents.

 According to Khatam, the floods have destroyed agricultural lands in Rahmati village, damaged many houses, and caused extensive harm to people's livestock and crops.

So far, the exact extent of the damage is not clear, but local officials say that the floods are still ongoing in the area, raising concerns about further losses.

Meanwhile, local authorities in Lalpur have called on charitable organizations, aid agencies, and relevant government bodies to support the flood-affected people, meet their urgent needs, and promptly carry out assessments of the damaged areas.
