A Chinese Company Plans to Establish a Joint Market Between Afghanistan and China in Wakhan
The head of a private Chinese company, during a meeting with the governor of Balkh, stated that they intend to build a joint market between Afghanistan and China in Wakhan.
The Chinese investor said that the purpose of establishing this market is to facilitate the buying and selling of products from both countries.
On the other hand, Balkh governor Haji Wafa assured that the Islamic Emirate cooperates with foreign investors in all sectors and has urged the company to fulfill its commitments.
This comes after earlier reports from American media indicated that officials of the Islamic Emirate are trying to transform the remote Wakhan region into a major commercial hub.
