Two Fire Incidents Reported in Balkh Province
The spokesperson for the Balkh Provincial Police Command, Hafiz Mohammad Esa “Wasiq,” says that a fire broke out in Balkh district of the province. The blaze was successfully brought under control by the professional personnel of the firefighting department and Mujahideen from the Emergency Response Directorate of the Police Command.
The incident caused financial damage estimated at 50,000 Afghanis, while goods worth 400,000 Afghanis were saved from being burned. The cause of the fire has been identified as an electrical short circuit. Fortunately, there were no human casualties.
