According to Ahmad Siawash Haris, the spokesperson for the governor of Jawzjan, the mosque was built on an area measuring 29 by 19 meters, with the capacity to accommodate 1,000 worshippers with support from a Turkish charitable organization. The project was carried out under the directive of Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, the Minister of Interior of the Islamic Emirate.

During the inauguration ceremony, the Governor of Jawzjan, a deputy from the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, and representatives of the Turkish charity emphasized the important role of mosques and religious schools in promoting Islamic values.

Under the rule of the Islamic Emirate, numerous religious projects have been implemented across various provinces of the country.
