Fire Contained in Hayat Street of Mazar-e-Sharif
Hafiz Mohammad Esa Waseq, spokesperson for the Balkh Provincial Police Command, reported that an electrical short circuit caused a fire in the sixth security district of Mazar-e-Sharif city (Hayat Street). The fire was swiftly and professionally contained by the firefighting team and the emergency response unit of the Balkh Police Command.
Mr. Waseq stated that the incident caused approximately 300,000 Afghanis in damages, while goods worth nearly 2 million Afghanis were saved from the fire.
