Explosive Materials Collected and Safely Destroyed in Kunar
The press office of the de facto security command in Kunar province reported, that its engineering team, in collaboration with local residents, has collected various unexploded ordnance and explosive materials left behind in villages during previous conflicts.
According to the official statement, the recovered items include one artillery shell (D-30), two mountain mortar shells, two 82mm mortar rounds, 20 AGS (automatic grenade launcher) rounds, and one illumination mortar round.
On other side, the statement added that all the explosive materials were safely destroyed by the engineering team in a controlled operation.
