Five killed and injured in a traffic incident in Badakhshan

Ehsanullah Kamgar, spokesperson for the Badakhshan police headquarters, said that as a result of a pickup vehicle veering off the road and overturning in the Siyah Sang village of Shahr-e-Buzurg district, two women lost their lives and three others were injured.

Four Individuals have been arrested in Badghis for cutting electricity poles

Sediqullah Siddiqi, the spokesperson for the Badghis Provincial Police Command, told Police Radio that security forces from the fourth district of Qala-e-Naw city carried out a series of follow-up operations and arrested four individuals in the “Jari Sakhi” area of the provincial capital. The individuals were accused of cutting iron parts from electricity poles with the intent to steal them, taking advantage of the darkness of night. They were detained along with a number of cut iron pieces.

Arrest of Eight Gamblers in a Residential House in Balkh

Hafiz Mohammad Isa Wasiq, spokesperson for the Balkh Police Command, said today (Sunday) that the sixth security zone police in Balkh arrested eight individuals who were gambling in a residential house. According to him, a sum of cash was seized, including 500 US dollars, 50 euros, and 42,890 Afghanis. After preliminary investigations, the cases of these individuals will be referred to judicial authorities for further proceedings.
