Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani welcomed the Chinese Foreign Minister, describing relations between the two countries as historic, and called China a neighbor that has always maintained positive engagement with Afghanistan.

For his part, Mr. Wang Yi said, that Afghanistan and China share relations with deep historical roots.

Additionally, during the meeting, discussions focused on security, counter-narcotics efforts, border security and coordination of border forces, as well as trade, agriculture, and training programs.
