Three top judo athletes selected for Balkh youth team

The under-21 judo selection competition was held in Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province, with the participation of 30 athletes. The tournament was organized in three weight categories: 60, 66, and 73 kilograms, and three top athletes qualified for the Balkh youth judo team.

Additionally, the purpose of holding this competition was to identify outstanding talents for the youth team.

Afghanistan’s national under-17 futsal team has won the Asian Championship

Afghanistan’s national under-17 futsal team has become the champion of the 2025 Asian Youth Championship after defeating Iran. In the final match, Afghanistan’s U-17 futsal team triumphed over Iran with a score of 2–1, securing the gold medal in the tournament. Basically, this marks Afghanistan’s first-ever championship title in the history of the U-17 Asian Futsal competitions.
