Reporters Without Borders (RSF) has announced that 250 media outlets in 70 countries simultaneously blacked out the front pages of their newspapers and websites in a coordinated action.
In a statement, RSF said this collective move by international media was organized together with the global campaign movement Avaaz.
According to RSF, the initiative aimed to show solidarity with journalists in Gaza and to condemn the killing of reporters by Israel in the enclave.
