Dondar mountaineering team from Herat successfully climbed the 4,670-meter peak of Khawand in Kabul province 

According to Sharif Ahmad Safar, head of the federation, four members of the team reached the summit after two consecutive days of effort and hardship, where they raised their team’s flag.

Afghanistan’s national under-17 futsal team has won the Asian Championship

Afghanistan’s national under-17 futsal team has become the champion of the 2025 Asian Youth Championship after defeating Iran. In the final match, Afghanistan’s U-17 futsal team triumphed over Iran with a score of 2–1, securing the gold medal in the tournament. Basically, this marks Afghanistan’s first-ever championship title in the history of the U-17 Asian Futsal competitions.
