Qatar’s prime minister to meet Trump over Israeli strike on Doha

Al Jazeera reports that Qatar’s Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Sani, is scheduled to meet US President Donald Trump next week to discuss last week’s Israeli attack on Doha.


The Qatar's prime minister had earlier held talks with the US vice-president and secretary of state regarding the Israeli strikes and the US-Qatar security agreement.

At least 91 Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza

Al Jazeera reports that at least 91 Palestinians were killed in Israeli strikes on Gaza City on Tuesday, 25 September. The attacks also destroyed 17 residential houses in the city. This comes a day after Israeli forces launched a ground operation to seize Gaza City on Monday, 24 September.

Afghanistan’s acting defence minister visits Qatar

Afghanistan’s acting defence minister visits Qatar Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, the acting defence minister of the Islamic Emirate, has visited Qatar where he held talks with Dr: Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi, Minister of State at Qatar’s Foreign Ministry. The meeting focused on strengthening relations between Afghanistan and Qatar, enhancing bilateral cooperation, and Qatar’s support for the positions of the Islamic Emirate.
