According to Hafiz Mohammad Esa Wasiq, spokesperson of Balkh province, a fire broke out at a fuel station in the center of Kaldar district. The fire was brought under control with the joint efforts of the district police force and local residents, and no casualties were reported.

The incident caused damage worth 42,000 Afghanis, while goods valued at 320,000 Afghanis were saved from burning. The cause of the fire was identified as an electrical short circuit.
