A High-Level Iranian Economic and Trade Delegation Arrives to Kabul

A high-ranking Iranian economic and trade delegation, led by Seyed Mohammad Atabak, Iran’s Minister of Industry, Mining, and Trade, has arrived in Kabul 


According to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the purpose of this visit is to identify problems and obstacles in order to expand bilateral trade and to provide facilities in the areas of transit and joint investments.


The delegation is scheduled to meet with officials from the Economic Deputy Office, the Ministries of Industry and Commerce, Mines and Petroleum, Public Works, as well as members of Afghanistan’s private sector. They will also visit the railway, mines, and the Islam Qala port in Herat.

Oman pardons 33 Afghan prisoners on Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday

The Embassy of Afghanistan in Oman said, that Sultan Haisam bin Tariq has pardoned 33 Afghan nationals on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad PBUH. According to the embassy, the prisoners had been held in Oman for varying periods and will soon be repatriated to Afghanistan. Additionally, the Afghan embassy welcomed the move, describing it as an important step towards strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

Islamic Emirate Approves Law on Distribution, Sale of State-Owned Lands

Shaikh Mullah Hebatullah Akhundzada, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate, has approved a law authorizing the distribution and sale of state-owned land designated for housing and commercial purposes nationwide, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs said in a statement on Tuesday. “Only lands that belong exclusively to the government and have been earmarked for urban development will be distributed based on a well-defined and structured plan, aligned with ongoing infrastructure progress and urban planning standards,” the statement said. According to the statement, a special committee led by the Administrative Office of the Prime Minister drafted the law, which has now been officially approved by the leadership of the Islamic Emirate, allowing the distribution and sale of state-owned land designated for housing and commercial purposes across the country. The new law on the distribution and sale of the state-owned land, as well as the issuance of construction permits, consists of a preamble, 4 chapters, 6 sections, and 38 articles, aimed at regulating and facilitating transparent land distribution and urban construction processes.

Afghan envoy in Moscow meets Qatari ambassador

Afghanistan’s ambassador in Moscow, Mawlawi Gul Hassan Hassan, has met Qatar’s ambassador to Russia, Ahmad bin Nasser Al Sani. According to the Afghan embassy, the two sides discussed Islamic solidarity, friendly relations and mutual cooperation, as well as Afghanistan’s economic growth, investment and stability. Additionally, during the meeting, Hassan strongly condemned the recent Israeli attack on Doha, calling it a blatant violation of international norms and an infringement on Qatar’s territorial integrity. Both sides also underlined the need to further strengthen ties and continue cooperation.
