Iran’s Supreme Leader Rejects Talks with the U.S., Calling Them Harmful
Iran’s Supreme Leader, Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in his latest speech, stated that negotiations with the United States under the current circumstances bring no benefits and would instead cause significant harm to Iran.
He further added, that the U.S. is demanding the suspension of Tehran’s nuclear activities and uranium enrichment, which he described not as negotiations but as the imposition of Washington’s demands.
Khamenei’s remarks come as Iran’s President, Masoud Pezeshkian, has traveled to New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly.
