Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has described the expulsion of Iran’s ambassador from Australia
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has described the expulsion of Iran’s ambassador from Australia
as an “unprecedented” move during his address at the UN General Assembly, defending the decision.
He stated that this is the first time since World War II that Australia has taken such an action, emphasizing that “there is zero tolerance for antisemitism.”
Albanese had earlier accused Iran of being involved in two attacks targeting Jews, allegations that led to the expulsion of the Iranian ambassador.
