The High Commission for Refugee Affairs reported that, in the past day, 1,500 Afghan families were forcibly returned to the country through various routes and were provided with all necessary services.

According to the report, a total of 1,494 families (8,584 individuals) have been registered, while 1,781 families (9,697 individuals) have been transported to different provinces.

At the same time, 1,607 families received cash assistance, and 1,181 SIM cards were distributed.

The returnees were transported to their home provinces through Islam Qala in Herat, the Silk Road crossing in Nimroz, Spin Boldak in Kandahar, Torkham in Nangarhar, Bahramcha in Helmand, and Kabul city.

Officials emphasized that the process of registration, transportation, healthcare services, and financial aid for returning refugees will continue.
