12 Individuals Injured in Two Traffic Accidents in Baghlan

Twelve Individuals were injured in two separate traffic incidents in the Khwajjan and Doshi districts of Baghlan province.


According to Mawlawi Sher Ahmad Burhani, spokesperson for the Baghlan Police Command, the first accident occurred when a Saracha-type vehicle veered off the road and overturned in the Chahar Maghzak area of Khwajjan district, injuring nine Individuals, including women and children.


He further added that the second incident involved a collision between two vehicles in Doshi district, which left three people injured.

Arrest of Eight Gamblers in a Residential House in Balkh

Hafiz Mohammad Isa Wasiq, spokesperson for the Balkh Police Command, said today (Sunday) that the sixth security zone police in Balkh arrested eight individuals who were gambling in a residential house. According to him, a sum of cash was seized, including 500 US dollars, 50 euros, and 42,890 Afghanis. After preliminary investigations, the cases of these individuals will be referred to judicial authorities for further proceedings.

A large quantity of weapons and ammunition seized by security forces in Samangan

Hashmatullah Rahmani, spokesperson for the Samangan Police Command, said that security forces from the Dara-e-Suf Bala district police command carried out a precise and targeted operation last night, during which they discovered and seized a significant amount of weapons and ammunition from irresponsible individuals. According to him, as a result of this operation, one PK machine gun, one rocket launcher, one Kalashnikov rifle, seven rocket rounds, fifteen hand grenades, four mortar shells, 146 PK bullets, and a quantity of other ammunition were recovered.
