Successful Ascent of Balkh Mountaineers to “Seh Sang” Peak in Charkent
Momin Sarwari, head of the Balkh Mountaineering Federation, announced the successful ascent of five members of the federation’s central team to the “Seh Sang” mountain peak in Charkent district.
The team, led by Reza Rezaei, Deputy for Technical and Professional Affairs of the Balkh Mountaineering Federation, and supported by the provincial Olympic and Physical Education Department, managed to climb the 1,900-meter “Seh Sang” peak on Friday.
Mr. Sarwari stated that the purpose of this program was to strengthen the physical fitness of mountaineers and to promote the culture of mountaineering among the youth.
