Munich Airport Closed Due to Suspicious Drone Sighting
Munich International Airport has been closed due to the sighting of a suspicious drone, causing flight delays.
According to Reuters, 17 flights have been canceled, leaving nearly 3,000 passengers stranded.
It has been reported that 15 inbound flights to Munich were redirected to Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Vienna, and Frankfurt airports for security reasons.
Airport officials stated that the measure was taken to ensure passenger safety and that the incident is under investigation.
