Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, Minister of Refugees and Repatriations, met with a delegation from Pakistan’s Jamaat-e-Islami party to discuss relations between Kabul and Islamabad and ways to address existing challenges.


During the meeting, the minister said the Islamic Emirate prioritizes dialogue and diplomacy in resolving issues, adding that “thanks to the jihad of the Afghan nation, stability has emerged in the region.”


He also expressed concern over the mistreatment of Afghan refugees and military actions against them, stressing that such measures should not be repeated.


The Jamaat-e-Islami delegation praised the peace and stability in Afghanistan, underlined the importance of closer ties between Afghan and Pakistani scholars, and said dialogue should be the priority in resolving differences between Kabul and Islamabad.
