Five individuals arrested in Nangarhar for robbery using military uniforms

Nangarhar provincial media office said, that security forces in Khogyani district have arrested five armed robbers following intelligence reports.


According to the statement, the men, wearing military uniforms, carried out a raid last night in which they killed a civilian and stole gold, cash, and valuables from a house.


Officials added that part of the stolen money, a Kalashnikov rifle, and other items were recovered from the suspects.


The detainees have confessed to their crimes, and preliminary documents have been prepared against them. The case has been referred to judicial authorities for further legal investigation.

Arrest of Eight Gamblers in a Residential House in Balkh

Hafiz Mohammad Isa Wasiq, spokesperson for the Balkh Police Command, said today (Sunday) that the sixth security zone police in Balkh arrested eight individuals who were gambling in a residential house. According to him, a sum of cash was seized, including 500 US dollars, 50 euros, and 42,890 Afghanis. After preliminary investigations, the cases of these individuals will be referred to judicial authorities for further proceedings.

A large quantity of weapons and ammunition seized by security forces in Samangan

Hashmatullah Rahmani, spokesperson for the Samangan Police Command, said that security forces from the Dara-e-Suf Bala district police command carried out a precise and targeted operation last night, during which they discovered and seized a significant amount of weapons and ammunition from irresponsible individuals. According to him, as a result of this operation, one PK machine gun, one rocket launcher, one Kalashnikov rifle, seven rocket rounds, fifteen hand grenades, four mortar shells, 146 PK bullets, and a quantity of other ammunition were recovered.
