Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs says Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will travel to Malaysia today at the official invitation of the Malaysian Prime Minister, leading a high-level government delegation.


The two-day visit is aimed at signing new cooperation agreements and strengthening existing ones between the two countries.


According to the ministry, Sharif will hold talks with his Malaysian counterpart on regional and international issues, as well as on trade, technology, communications, the halal industry, investment, education, energy, infrastructure, the digital economy, and enhancing people-to-people ties.


It is also expected that several new agreements in various sectors will be signed during the visit.
