Direct Negotiations are Taking Place in Egypt between the Hamas movement and Israel

Today, direct negotiations are taking place in Egypt between the Hamas movement and Israel regarding a ceasefire agreement in Gaza.


According to sources, the talks will cover the release of Israeli hostages, the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, and other key points of the agreement.


U.S. President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and special envoy Steve Witkoff will represent Washington. The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office has confirmed that its delegation will arrive today in the city of Sharm el-Sheikh.


The Hamas delegation, led by Khalil al-Hayya, has already arrived in Egypt. The Palestinian resistance organization has stated that they are ready for talks but have expressed concerns about certain provisions of the agreement.


Meanwhile, Arab media, citing Hamas sources, reported that the group has also agreed to disarmament under international supervision.

Syrian President Ahmed Shar’ah is expected to visit Washington
