Russian President Vladimir Putin to Visit Tajikistan

According to TASS news agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin will travel to Tajikistan to meet and hold talks with President Emomali Rahmon.


During the visit, Putin will also participate in the second “Russia–Central Asia” summit, which will focus on enhancing cooperation between Russia and regional countries.


Additionally, the Russian President will attend the Council of Heads of Member States of the Economic Cooperation Organization, where the member countries are expected to sign 20 cooperation agreements.

Trump threatened the Nigerian government with military action

U.S. President Donald Trump, in response to what he described as the massacre of Christians in Nigeria, has warned the Nigerian government that Washington may cut aid and cooperation, and that U.S. military forces could be deployed to Nigeria. Trump made this statement early today (Sunday, November 1) in a message on his social media platform, Truth Social. The former president urged the Nigerian government to stop the killings of Christians in the country and ordered the Pentagon to be prepared for a potential action in Nigeria.

Syrian President Ahmed Shar’ah is expected to visit Washington

The U.S. Special Envoy for Syria, Tom Barrack, has said that Syrian President Ahmed Shar’ah is expected to visit Washington. Reuters reported that this would be the first visit of a Syrian leader to the U.S. capital. According to a White House official, the visit is expected to take place around November 10. Meanwhile, Syrian officials have also stated that the visit is anticipated within the next two weeks.
