Afghan Ministry of Defense Says Retaliatory Operations Against Pakistani Military End Successfully

The Ministry of Defense of Afghanistan has announced that retaliatory operations by Afghan forces against Pakistani military positions along the notional Durand Line have ended successfully.


In a statement, the ministry said the operation concluded at 12:00 ( at Saturday October 12).


According to the Ministry of National Defense, the Afghan armed forces carried out the operation in response to repeated violations of Afghan territory by the Pakistani army and its airstrikes on Afghan soil.


The statement warned that if the other side again violates Afghanistan’s territory, the country’s Islamic and National Army is ready to defend its territorial integrity and will deliver a decisive response.


It is reported that on Saturday night Afghan forces struck a number of Pakistani military targets along the notional line with heavy weapons.

Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid: U.S. drones enter Afghanistan’s airspace using Pakistan’s airspace

The spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, has said that U.S. drones enter Afghanistan’s airspace using Pakistan’s airspace. Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid stated that the Islamic Emirate’s negotiation team has also asked the Pakistani side not to allow its airspace to be used against Afghanistan. However, Zabihullah Mujahid added that the Pakistani side has gone back on its commitment in this regard.

In the end, the visiting team and delegation members expressed great happiness over H.E. Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani’s material and moral appreciation and considered it a great reassurance for the future, knowing that they have the attention and support of such leaders.

Mujahid’s reaction to Pakistan’s Defense Minister’s remarks: Khawaja Asif’s authority is limited to X

The spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, stated that they will never respond to statements made by Khawaja Asif, as he holds no authority and his influence is limited to Twitter. Mr. Mujahid added: "We know that Pakistan does not want war, and even the political parties there are not in favor of conflict. Since they do not want war, we do not favor it either." These remarks by the Islamic Emirate’s spokesperson come after Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif recently made comments regarding the continuation of conflict with Afghanistan.
