Rashid Khan, a prominent player of Afghanistan’s national cricket team, has voiced deep sorrow over the recent airstrikes by Pakistani forces on Afghan territory that resulted in the martyrdom of several civilians.

Additionally, in his remarks, Rashid Khan said that the killing of innocent people has no justification and that such attacks are against “human and humanitarian values.”

He also praised the Afghanistan Cricket Board’s decision to cancel the upcoming matches against Pakistan’s national team, calling it a reflection of solidarity with the pain and grief of the Afghan people.

According to him, this decision shows that the players stand firmly beside their nation.

This comes as the tri-nation T20 series between Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan was scheduled to begin on November 17.
