Zalmay Khalilzad, military regime must take responsibility for its “failures and disorder
Zalmay Khalilzad, former U.S. Special Representative for Afghanistan’s Peace, has stated that Pakistan’s military regime must take responsibility for its “failures and disorder.”
Mr. Khalilzad made these remarks on X on Friday night, (October 17).
Referring to efforts in Doha to maintain a ceasefire between Kabul and Islamabad, and the resumption of attacks by Pakistan’s military regime on civilian and non-military targets in Afghanistan, the former U.S. envoy questioned the sincerity of the regime, asking: “Is Pakistan a genuine neighbor?”
