Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived to Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan

Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived yesterday (Wednesday, October 16) in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, for a two-day official visit.


According to the TASS news agency, Putin is scheduled to participate in the second Russia-Central Asia summit, which will also be attended by the leaders of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.


Additionally, the Russian president will also take part in the Summit of Countries with Shared Interests, attended by the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Belarus.

Trump threatened the Nigerian government with military action

Syrian President Ahmed Shar’ah is expected to visit Washington

The U.S. Special Envoy for Syria, Tom Barrack, has said that Syrian President Ahmed Shar’ah is expected to visit Washington. Reuters reported that this would be the first visit of a Syrian leader to the U.S. capital. According to a White House official, the visit is expected to take place around November 10. Meanwhile, Syrian officials have also stated that the visit is anticipated within the next two weeks.
