170 Afghan migrants have been released from prisons in Pakistan and Iraq and returned to Afghanistan


The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation said, that 170 Afghan migrants have been released from prisons in Pakistan and Iraq and returned to Afghanistan.


Of these, 148 had been held in Pakistani prisons for two months and were repatriated to Afghanistan via Spin Boldak.


According to the ministry’s data, the remaining 22 migrants had been imprisoned in Iraq for seven months and were transferred back to Afghanistan through Nimroz.

The spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, has said that U.S. drones enter Afghanistan’s airspace using Pakistan’s airspace. Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid stated that the Islamic Emirate’s negotiation team has also asked the Pakistani side not to allow its airspace to be used against Afghanistan. However, Zabihullah Mujahid added that the Pakistani side has gone back on its commitment in this regard.

In the end, the visiting team and delegation members expressed great happiness over H.E. Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani’s material and moral appreciation and considered it a great reassurance for the future, knowing that they have the attention and support of such leaders.

Mujahid’s reaction to Pakistan’s Defense Minister’s remarks: Khawaja Asif’s authority is limited to X

The spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, stated that they will never respond to statements made by Khawaja Asif, as he holds no authority and his influence is limited to Twitter. Mr. Mujahid added: "We know that Pakistan does not want war, and even the political parties there are not in favor of conflict. Since they do not want war, we do not favor it either." These remarks by the Islamic Emirate’s spokesperson come after Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif recently made comments regarding the continuation of conflict with Afghanistan.
