The Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan held a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Malaysia
Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, and Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, held a telephone conversation regarding bilateral relations and the violation of Afghanistan’s airspace by Pakistan.
During the call, Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund reiterated the Islamic Emirate’s principled position, stating that Afghanistan is not in favor of war; rather, it was Pakistan that initiated the conflict by violating Afghanistan’s airspace.
The Prime Minister noted that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, out of respect for the ongoing talks between the Afghan and Pakistani delegations in Doha, is awaiting the outcome of those discussions.
The Malaysian Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the start of the Doha talks and emphasized resolving the issue through diplomacy, dialogue, and understanding, while also expressing his country’s readiness to cooperate in this regard.
